Daurfusu

The 37 farmers in Daurfusu Farmer Group focus on picking only ripe cherry and processing it with immense care. The end product is a high-quality washed coffee from a small producer group in Timor-Leste.

The group is led by Simiao Pedro de Deus, who also works as lead farmer and field officer coordinating cherry delivery to the Lutlala processing station. Simiao is a highly respected figure in the community and a skilled producer. In 2019 he placed in the top-10 in a best of harvest Timor competition.

This particular lot from Daurfusu has been processed and dried with the mucilage left intact, adding to body and sweetness whilst still maintaining crisp and clean clarity in the cup.
